Master of Mac park is coming up

Hi guys didn’t know really where to post this so I thought I would post it here……

Just letting ppl know that master of Mac park is coming up here is a link to their web site http://www.thearmsreport.com.au/macpark/, I suppose I’m just trying to spark some interest for the local road race track…… as there committee don’t seem to do too good of a job promoting it…… its funny the track is at Mount Gambier about 15km out of town I asked about 10 just of the street ….have you ever been to mc park or do u know where it is…. not 1 person knew it was even there, how lame is that…….. The dates are….20-21 of Sep

I grew up in Mt Gambier and haven't been there either. I've been past many times, but when you don't ride and your parents aren't interested, then I'm guessing it's not unusual.

Late Edit> I just checked Google Maps and I haven't been past at all, what I have been past is Borderline Speedway .

I've raced at Mac Park a few times. It's a great track. No real need to promote it as they always get a great turnout, both competitors and spectators.

Hello hello is there a echo lol……….. I remember going to one Hartwell club race is was packed all the cars had to park out in one of the paddocks…… just since that race I have noticed bit of a decline that’s all…….. the track has been resurfaced …. And now I think they’re saving to purchase their own generator for the site…….

I had a run at Mac Park a while ago , great track . There seems to be some confusion around now as to the track condition . People seem to know that it was resurfaced and they had some issues with the job . Nobody I have spoken to is too sure if the repairs have been done . Their web site is out of date too .
I hope to get there for the historic meeting just after Xmas if I have something running

Billy, the track was resurfaced but it fell apart again soon after....

It has now been resurfaced again and from all accounts is in great condition. I'll be there for the historic meet at new years.

nothing wrong with it now, a great little track and not too far from home
well worth the trip to competet or view.

yep the track is all good if ya have a look at the web site i gave its all up to date with Upcoming track days and races and all that………

I have been out there twice since they resurfaced the track, the final time.

The track surface is fine.
