motorcycles aren't green

Post by dilligaf »

at least according to rudd's lot they aren't

The Federal Minister for Climate Change and Water, the Hon Penny Wong has launched a new Australian Government website encouraging vehicle owners to switch to lower emission vehicles. Motorcycles are not included in the list, despite offering significantly lower carbon dioxide output, and a solution to other environmenatl issues.

ma has a campaign to remind the minister they are:

edit. if you go to the link you can send the minister an e-mail! there is a suggested one to send

I've always said they aren't green- don't get in the cage and drive to no good place for no good reason just because i can......
go through more petrol in the scoot every week- but it keeps me sane and that has to save the govt bucks!

Kiss slowly,
Love truely,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And NEVER regret anything that made you smile.'

The "fuckwit" is doing us favour actually. Think about it do you really want to see scooters, bikes, everywhere ? Let's say 3 lines of bikes/scooters every morning in Nepean Highway :D.... congestion full of bikes ? I've lived in places where bikes are more common than cars and it's not too nice :o perhaps the only positive is cars need to look out for them.
