Go the Ninja 250R!
I wonder how (if at all) that will translate into zx-6 and zx-10 sales in the coming years.

You'd think it would help build some sort of brand loyalty.

Kawasaki beating Yamaha in total roadbike sales is pretty cool though. Looks like at last all the fully sick boys have their R1's (that's you Benno :P :P )

I'd suggest if it wasn't for the ninja 250, Kawasaki would have had a pretty average result.. :?

If Kwaka had imported enough Ninja 250's then I dare say that they would have the No1 spot for Roadbike Sales! Its looking like 2009 for most new customers...

we're only beating yammy in road sales... they lead off-road sales....

if it wasnt for the ninja 250 tho we would be below them... however still ahead of triumph....

hopefully the 250 riders will graduate to ZX6s and ZX10s but i dont reckon all of them will... lots of people arent brand loyal.... unlike myself of course ;) for now the ninja 250 is a cool bike to have... and kawasaki ZX6s arent as cool and AAHHHH-6's so it doesnt always translate into sales... better chance of happening but it doesnt guarentee it....

will be interesting to see how the CB400 sells in the coming quarter....

I gotta wonder wtf is buying Sachs? Aren't they like one level above lawnmower and then only slightly? Also a bit surprised with Hyosung's result, plenty of pps buying Korean cars and they are a drit cheap bike brand spanking new...

the trouble with Hyosung was that they went from 650 restricted (temporarily :D ) to 250 for not much less in price.

Yeah I tell you what, I was able to smash him in the street light drags but I could only just keep in front of him throught the twisty bits. He has ordered the tune up kit and the big block motor for it and wants to go for another run whens its all installed  dont know if I want to thought as I could only just keep in front of him with it as a standard bike.

I wonder if I could get into trouble on one of them?

I like that 125, would look good parked outside a coffee shop in Norton St while I was admiring it with my toy poodle in my bag, sipping my mocha through a straw

Hmmm Sachs..............

Its a cheap runabout for sure and they look cool! But parking one in Norton St is inviting someone to literally just pick it up and walk off with it! They weigh little more than a pushbike... Tie a poodle to it and the dog would probably drag it along!

On the plus side Ive seen people literally hop off the bike and walk it into their office building in the city. Off into the elevators which saves on parking problems! Each to their own
