Be careful what you put up in Facebook or Myspace photos.

The latest story on Nine News tonight (online), is how defendants in drink-driving cases are having old Facebook photos used against them in evidence in court cases. Prosecutors across the US now routinely trawl Facebook / Myspace looking for any evidence that can undermine a defendants credibility in a court case.

A couple of young kids, 20 and 22, are now doing stints of 2 and 4 years respectively, as their Facebook photos did not reflect very well when presented in court....simple things like being photographed at a party, holding a beer, 2 weeks after a driving incident involving alcohol......yeh its crap, especially when in any other similiar case without a photo, the defendant would have been getting a community service order !!

The network should show Australia...

your having same drama as me, you need to set australia as your network.

when you dont have a network you can only get in global stuff. when your in australia network you can join australian stuff and global.

go to your details settings and look for "networks"



hey Niko's have you got the group set so anyone can add photo's etc? or only admin?
