Had a look at an Australian site called 'GumTree' which sells/auctions motorcycles among other things, first bike listed was a 2006 BMW R1200S with 5,500 klm on the clock for $4,650.00, thought it a bit on the cheap side as a mate recently purchased one and paid a lot more for it so decided to have a look at some of the other bikes, scammers heaven, Hardleys for $5,000 to $15,000, in all saw about 10 obvious scams on this site, Might be a fair warning to a lot of our newer members looking for a bigger bike after 'L's'.

Re: Cheap BMW R1200S
I looked at that site when I was looking to buy the bike I have now.
Some of the ones listed on there are in the "too good to be true" category.
I figured it was a scam so I didn't bother enquiring about any of them.
