LOUUDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Blurr »

Well it finally arrived this afternoon and fark it's farking loud!!!! I mean really farking loud!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

After a painful 5 weeks of waiting the M4 slip on GP series exhaust turn up this afternoon.

Firstly the weigh in. I was very interested along with many other to see how much the Bug's monstrosity called a pipe actually weighed in at. So I unpacked the M4 and headed straight for the scales. The pipe weighed just 2kgs including bracket and bolts :D . After swinging a few spanners and allen keys the OEM can and servo motor was off then put straight onto the scales. The 8kg notch was marginally passed. Thats a huge saving but to tell the truth I couldnt give a shit if I didnt save any weight as long as that ugly thing was gone. see below for the size difference.

Image

3 bolts later and the new can was on. I had braided lines delivered at the same ime so I threw the rear line on while I was there. I could hardly wait to turn the key and start her up. Wattie and Dave had both told me they had heard the full system on a bug at the track 2 weeks ago and the thing was loud so I was a little nervous. Honestly that was not what I was after and not usually something that I like as you have to listen to it for hours on end when riding. I kicked her over and the sound I heard was a thing a beauty love10.gif love10.gif love10.gif . Admittely it is loud but so sweet I can forgive her (if I could only figure out how to do a sound clip).

As for the looks it only gets better. I removed the pillion pegs and boy do I wonder if I have ever seen a sweeter arse end   .

I will take some better picks when I get a chance but I cant wait to take her for a ride!!!

Let me know what you think!!

and oh yeah I know.....she needs a clean
