That wasn't necessarily my intention, I've got a soft spot for rex's. I *may* have called them an old man's bike, but I was a little drunk so it doesn't count

I *must* have had a few drinks  The rex is big for sure, but I don't believe anything's too big for anyone, especially based just on age

I posted a response to this in the thread which disappeared!! But here it is again summarised.

The Rex is a handful in comparison to a late model 6. I would highly recommend the 6 and would most likely still be on one if it were not for old injuries coming back to haunt me as I get older. The Rex demands some strength and aggression to ride it fast. The 6 is almost subliminal in it's reactions. 8)

Know what you mean there, although the 99 came in better paint schemes ;)

totally expected... ive always liked the look of the REX tho, and to be honest i think something that slows me down a little might be good

when i bought the baby i knew id do a lil bit of 2 up riding, but the gf seems pretty keen so a bigger bike would also be handy for that... we could actualy go away overnight without looking crazily over-loaded with the arse end of Sienna sagging (and we cant have that!!!)

You would be totally disOWNED if you went TRX 850 they are the biggest pieces of shite going.... 2 mates had them & it put them off bikes they were that bad  they may look ok but they dont handle.... that's why you never see any at the race track ;)
BTW I would love a rex too 8)
