im selling my vs 5.0L manual v8 commy at the moment and had it parked on the road outside my work
and some fucking low life cock went past and keyed it down the driver's side rear door right up to the front door and its all the way
through the paint.
i just wish i could have caught them in the act cause i can gauranty you they would never want to key another car again after i finish with them.
but on the other hand i dont fancy going to jail , so maybe its a good thing i didnt catch the fuckwit.

Scorpion make a good alarm which comes witha key pad that goes off when your bike alarm goes off not to sure what the price is though
Scorpion make good alarms, but their prices are Criminal
there's plenty of other good ones out there with pagers for a third of the price of a scorpion
Itll get fixed I suppose and that'll be it! I cant use it to commute to work anymore for varying reasons so back to a cage...
Am kinda thinking that if I don't commute on it, it could be time to think about a bigger bike unregistered for an odd track day. The seating position of the baby after our putty run last friday had me sore on saturday. There's some cheap near new Gumby's about which I could road register later once on full licence(mid next year) Good or bad idea? Thoughts? Id have to trade/sell the baby ninja to do it though...

Rob - if you feel competent enough to get a gumby for a track-hack, before getting your full licence - I think personally this is a great idea. Any mistakes you make will not see you under a bus or into a tree. At least on the track - you would be able to learn how to ride a bike in a far safer environment than on the road - and when you make it to full-licence time, assuming all has gone well on the track and the bike is still good - bingo, instant road bike that you are comfortable on, and have the confidence to ride well.
It is a big step up from a 250 though.....I am sure the local crew who ride with you will know if its a good idea or not

I would look at keeping the 250 for a while yet Rob, you have emotions running wild at the moment mate you have to remember if you get a track bike (IMHO is no biggie as you are a safe rider always in controll & the jump to a 10 would be a matter of getting used to it in your own time) the fact is you would loose the ability to just go for a blat to clear the cobwebs at will, you have to wait for track days (not cheep) & this would probably be quite frustrating.

Yeah Im unsure which way Ill head at the moment... And without the use of the bike for work and working most weekends Ill probs only get a run once a month anyway. Plus I already have a Ute to throw it on the back of! Ill give it some thought and sleep on it for a few days!

My hamstrings were cramping badly the last 100 kays back to windsor... Then the ride home wasnt much better. Sat on the 6 and the position is much the same with the legs albeit not as upright. The 10 seems to be slightly less cramped.
Not sure what Im doing and either way Im stuck without any bike for a while as what small damage they did means I have to wait for parts from Japan
there is alot of work involved in converting from full track to road each time you want to swap and alot of the cheap track bikes might be unable to be reregistered aas they may have been written off. just food for thought.
I have no question that you will handle the extra power sensibly though
