i like it how it is. if you try and get too warm and cuddly and fuzzy and PC, you'll end up being a greener version of netrider
keep hanging shit and keep the newbies at bay, its the only way to prevent it....

racing hondas is like running in the special olympics

If you have a problem with something or someone, deal wit it. its real easy.
If something about the site pisses you off, let everyone know.
If some one on the site pisses you off, let them know directly.
Let it all out.. who gives a phark!!
Enough of this melrose place bullshit![]()
Thanks to this forum, i"ve met some really nice people and shared many stories and years of knowledge.
You honestly wont get so many people with such great senses of humor all in one place.
Sure, there"s always going to be an idiot here and there, i do my best to ignore them, but if it gets out of hand, simply tell em to fark off!!!
Life is simply too short for this bullshit, honestly. This is school boy stuff.
This is a public forum and your going to get a huge mix of people, and yes some of them will be little immature, inbred, mentally ill, wankers, thats life.![]()
Finally, Dave and the crew, thanks for all the hard work and dedication towards the site, keep up he good work
I'm with SoundGuy all the way

I've not been here too long, but I think it's great the way it is.

Don't change a thing, this is an OPEN FORUM (one of the better ones around), I think change could possibly be more harmful than good because this place is constantly evolving & will continue to do so in its own way
so let it.

Re: Should the site change - poll
No change required, if you don't like it then as Humongous said...
"Just walk away" ....and then come back when you've had a break and realise how much better it is here

I can only speak for myself but I've stuck here for a few years now because it is what it is and 99% of the people here are cool. The 1% of knobheads get pissed on or exposed as dickheads and disappear (you still here Kishy????).
I say leave it
I say leave it

It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

If you change too much you wont be KSRC!
Familiarity breeds contempt, and absence makes the heart grow fonder. I notice that people come back after a dummy spit. I personally think the judgement and balance is cool, and core membership are fuckin gold online and in person and have no issues with the admin whatso ever.
The medium this community uses (internet) aint perfect and never will be. This forum seems to work better than others I have seen. If bods want something different its all out there at a click of a mouse please dont try to be right for everyone if they are bored they should go for a goodride and come back and tell all. or find a donut.

I also chat on a US-based forum. It was huge and almost impossible to keep up with all of the threads.
Then they sold out to a corporate mob who introduced banner ad's and changed the whole look of the board. Today, it's a ghost town, kept alive by a handful of people. The main bulk of members have deserted it.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!

Re: Should the site change - poll
Dave,
The forum is made up from members, and its what those members do/say that makes a forum worth while or not. No "re-programming" of the site is gonna change that .. in fact, the more restrictive, the less appealing its gonna be.
From a newbies point of view, I think its the ants pants
... Ive learnt so much, and love the fact that so many people here are willing to share their experiences with anyone who asks.
Also, with 2000 odd members all thrown into the ring, theres always gonna be a bit of conflict, especially by those who have been here a long time and know which hot buttons to push .. personally, I find alot of the banter quite funny!
Soooooooo ... leave it the way it is, and Im sure most here will agree with me too.

And on the seventh day Richo ended his work which he had made. Decided resting was for soft cox, straddled the REX and headed up the old road.

What sorts of changes are you referring to Dave? Structuring of the content or more of a look and feel type of change?

Re: Should the site change - poll
Yeah, leave it as is, I would hate to see this site have advertising to the point of having banners
or changing away from how it is, yes some older members have dissapeared but I bet they still have a look every now and then, newbies will adapt if they like the general way of things IMO
Personally I don't post much anymore as I am not the chatty type online and my attempted wit gets lost through the keyboard especially now that I don't drink 'n' post
Prefer to just read mostly.
I appreciate everyone’s input good or bad, this forum is based on Kawasaki’s and all things related to riding, it is even ok to own a Hoonda or a Yamaha let alone dare I mention it, a Suzuki ffs and still be a part of this forum
One thing that makes this place so great is the way that members here will go out of their way to help, I could almost guarantee that there would be many members in every state that would put you up for the night/s as you pass through and they do it without having previously met you before.
More than likely that night would turn out to have many other local members in attendance to meet you, give you a hangover from hell, ride you out of town (in a good way) and be a night to remember
The wealth knowledge of all things technical is fantastic, even if it means many phone calls or sending manuals or parts it happens. That to me says volumes about us!
The antics of some are hilariously funny, some of the human tragedy stories here also are equally important to all of us to know that the support of members is there and we are really a caring bunch. It is a reflection of the admins and owner that this takes place, the lack of use by the "big stick" is also good as we can sort it out by ourselves as a community. After all it is about the feeling we get riding a motorcycle, how we get there, and being with like minded people.
Anyway, enough of the soft warm and fuzzy shite, HTFU, leave it as is, get on with it, if you don’t like it go and join a knitting club.
