Fuel-injected Z650 !! Home style.....

found this on another forum tonight - its a home-made (sort-of) fuel-injected Z650. The guy lives up in Qld, and has used a Megasquirt EFI unit, together with the injector rail / butterflies from a '83 GPz 1100.......hmmm I have a few of them kicking around...............and ProblemChild has always wanted to put EFI on Eddie Jnr........looks like it won't be too difficult !!

I was toying with the idea of playing around with a Megasquirt and an old bike at one stage. Back then I figured it didn't have the resolution I needed. Might have to take another squiz, though I've more projects than the State Gumbyment ATM.

Does he ride it regularly ?? I would like to swap notes with this guy if possible - I already have most of the injection stuff ready to go (throttle bodies, injectors, fuel pumps etc) and have no worries with wiring it up.....

I'm not sure how often he rides it now but he bought it new in South Africa and bought it with him. His mate did the wiring and program as far as I know. I will try get contact details for you.

its good to see others are keen to modify to, just fiited megasquirt to my zx9 started it up on the weekend , just have to tune it now
