The best thing is there is no flat spot like the Muzzy on the ZX12r. I went for a short ride this afternoon and it is smooooooooth also seems to have a bit more mid range.

I like the Kerker also but Phil (sorry Phil's wife ;) )has the same bike and I am trying to have a few different mods as we ride together most sundays. I was going for different suspension but ended up with Ohlins so I decided to go for the Akra to be a bit different. I think the Kerker is the bees guts also as it gives it more of an Eddie Lawson look and feel 8) but I dont mind the Akra at all. At least the 08 has the same colour scheme (sort of).

oh i know mate... no-one likes a copy cat, or to be one... and im sure the akra sounds 8)

and i totally dig the colour scheme on the new bikes... its good too see a manufacturer honouring the past....

Don't forget the jet kit and airbox, worth another 6hp and lots more torque. AF was pretty good with just the Akra, just a little lean down low. Best keep it in the higher RPM limits for a while  Looks great.
