Ohlin's and Rosso's for the ZRX now with Akra

Post by Wadda »

Yep, the mods have started with some Ohlins rear shocks and some new Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres. Cant wait to try out the tyres with the new shocks.

The Akra and braided lines should be on next week.

Well i only got to sample the new Rosso's for about 700km before i had a play in the gravel and ended up in hospital.

I've got nothing but good things to say about them, they gripped instantly and they felt great.

Let us know how many K's your get our of em.

It looks great Big Guy, even better in the flesh, really is an eye catcher. Have to check with you about the Akra as I might get one for the 9, I forgot the name of the place already.....

Hey Wadda
Just got back from startline after dyno set up after the akrapovic, stage 1.o factory pro jet kit , standard air box with snorkle removal. First run with akra only Max power =126.70 Torque 84.46.
After setup as above now 132.09 hp with Max Torque 87.40. Wow what a diffrence :o These guys at startline in springwood really know there stuff. Funny how my zrx1100 made only 114hp with same set up..amazing what an extra 100cc will do.

I put the Akra on last night. Looks 8) . Sounds 8) and no flat spot like the Muzzy on the ZX12r.

Now for the Ohlins front forks 8) .
