Mate,
Ride them both and pick the one you like better...
In saying that, Wattie ditched his Z1000 after riding my 636

Streetfighter, riding them both back to back is seriously the only way you're going to know.
Zed is more comfortable with easy power
6r is more sporty, better handling with peakier power

after riding one, makes riding a sporty bike less comfy...

All very good points..
i have ridden both back to back and still cannot decide... working in a Motorcycle shop allows me the luxury of riding both of them any time i like.. however im wanting to purchase a bike... i like the Z1000 simply because i love nakeds.. but then i rode the ZX6 on a nice little trip the other week and WOW what a nice lil bike... the Z1000 is more comfy and they will cost me the same money. The ZX6 is a nice little ride not too little power not over powered just the way i like it... actually im thinking maybe i get the ZX6 and streetfighter it... Thoughts ....
I LOVE my bikes like i LOVE my women.... NAKED

Sounds all too hard...
If you want a naked - Z1000
if you don't - ZX6
