hey I cant find out for sure on the transport department website,
but whats the go with having a pillion passenger with your open licence?.
I assume you can have a pillion, but somewhere along the lines I got the rumour "must have opens for one year before having a passenger"???
I know you have to have it for over a year to teach L platers.

'tis true. In QLD you must hold that class of license for one year before you can take a pillion. That means if you got your RE and had it for a year you can take a pillion on a 250, but if you upgrade to an R class license you have to wait another year before taking anyone on the back of a larger bike.
