theres a big debate of that crap bullshit forum (netlosers.net.au) about the benefits of a shaft driven bike but like all posts on the forum it quickly denigrates into a pile of shit with each poster trying to out wank each other.

Over 200000km (maybe 300000km) on my KAWASAKI shaft drive and it hasn't caught on fire. It tows loads waaaaaaaaaaay heavier than it was designed to (e.g 200kg trailer with GN250 on it and 120kg rider) and was a cheap bike when it was new. You think beemer diffs give problems- the gearboxes are worse! 

2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R
