carbon rear hugger

Post by brendanzxr »

hey guy's and girl's just wondering if you can help me out on something, i'm after a carbon fiber rear hugger for my zxr250c , because my rear tyre is to bigger profile for the bike & it wore a big hole right through my hugger on the top , so where can i get one from or a coloured one if i can't get a carbon fiber one.
cheers brendan

Try ring around at some wreckers Brendan. You might be lucky and pick one up cheap.
Before you put another one on, you should change your tyre to its proper profile or this will just happen again.
Why have you got a different profile on your bike anyway mate?

With the new chain & sprocket set, the wheel has been brought forward causing it to rub, the profile of the tyre is 10mm bigger than recomended .......... with the chain adjustment at its limit before, the tyre did not used to rub
The new rear tyre will fix that problem, & as for the hugger shop around at the wreckers for a plastic one ... it will be cheaper

mate carbon fiber is not a piece of plastic, and generally anything carbon fiber is expensive.

if wreckers are no good try Find a part. sometimes they are just as bad but at least you dont have to go looking.
