Just curious - re:polishing kits

Post by BrisZX9R »

Has anyone seen on Ebay the self polishing kits for bikes? ( http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :IT&ih=018)
If so, does anyone know if they work? I want to polish my frame and wheels.

any feedback appreciated.

They go the big sell, but you have to realise polishing is a dirty hard job to get a perfect finish just ask Slow & wobbly he is somewhat of an expert  recently I did the fork legs for the Z500 & I reckon I have put in 3 hours per leg to get it to an ok finish but not perfect. Dont know about the bits & pieces they are flogging but I have found that the Linisher with 2 buffing wheel's works a treat one for cutting & 1 for polishing ;)
