ROFLMAO !
07 ZX10R track 09 ZX6R road/track 93 ZXR750 race 89 GPZ900 project
Do not walk behind me, for I may not be leading
Do not walk in front of me, for I may not be following
Do not walk alongside me, for the path may be narrow
Just piss off and leave me alone

My zxr750L is a 92'. most people don't believe me when i say it's a 92 L model.
Bikes make the world go round.
Re: ZXR7 V ZXR750 (ZX750)
Same, mine is stamped 10/92. The 111th L1 out of the factory. Still goes hard!

Re: ZXR7 V ZXR750 (ZX750)
The question we don'r know is, When were they first registered or available to the public though..?
My m is 12/92 but wasn't sold until mid 93
My 98 zx9r was 11/97 but wasn't sold / first registered until Feb 98
even my car has 12/06 build date on it and I didn't get that until 3/07 and I ordered it in 12/06 and had to wait..
It takes quite a while to get a container over here so build date doesn't necsessarily resolve the original question of when it was for sale or available to the purchaser.?
I bet theres 08 zx10r's with Dec build dates but you can't get them yet..
Theres no question that the zx7r and a lot of other models have manufacture dates prior to there model year designation, its there availablity that was unknown. Having a build date from Nov should make it OK, you'd think..

Re: ZXR7 V ZXR750 (ZX750)
thats why the import shipping docs and photo in amcn and the comp plate makes a bike 100% eligible.
a bike may sit on a shop floor for 5 years(or more)(or less) before it it sold and then reg'd . so your comment is blah blah.
i cant comment on your M as i wasnt here when they were released but i did work on many at the end of 93.

FFS.. Can I suggest you read the thread again..wet4uracing wrote:thats why the import shipping docs and photo in amcn and the comp plate makes a bike 100% eligible.

The discussion was about if the rules change to Moms (not what they are now) which state " the year of the bike is based on when it was first available for sale and deliver to purchaser"..
Can't see anywhere in the Moms historic section where it says if you find a pic in AMCN its ok and theres no reference to compliance plate or shipping docs in there either... take it up with MA..
Currrently its eligability is not in question, the question is it may not be if it becomes a historic class and or run under moms, as was stated on the PCRA site... Thats what this was about.
So get some factual documents of its sale in 95 and it won't be a problem, simple really.. saves all this discussion..
and send em to the PCRA..

Dave, I think you need to look into the record books to see which 9 holds the record. Just for something to do.

I did, I went to the the biggest record book I could find, The Guiness book of world records, I couldn't find anything in there about his zx9r...
I even looked up the world record for being the greenest, and he wasn't there either..
