Yee of little faith. West has the talent, and Hopper will figure it out, at least one of them will pull it out of the bag, they just went thru a dark patch at Qatar (excuse the errh pun).mick_dundee wrote:Mediocrity prevails again

Re: Kawasaki Moto GP - Losail
I flew over last year for the Supers and they were so so, this year with my bros we took a mate and another friend who has never been to a MotoGp and all of us were blown away.
It was a great night, granted there is not the atmosphere of Phillip Island or even Sepang but it was still some awesome racing in all 3 classes.
Casey was awesome, we were waiting for the Poison Dwarf to bin it and all were impressed with Lorenzo. The Doctor just doesn't seem to have the same staying power as these young blokes. Man those Yamahas were fast and the Kwakas were so slow. Hopper's excuse was that he was carrying an injury. Ant just was outpaced, we watched him follow and nearly catch the 2 Alice Dukes at the back of the field but as soon as he came onto the straight they were gone. Me suspects all is not well in the green camp, and as usual everybody but Kawasaki has gained some horsepower over the Xmas break. I saw him chase down the field after his ride thru at Sepang last October, man he and that bike were on it that day.
Afterwards we hit the Aussie Legends bar at Rydges Hotel and drank with the mechanics from Kiefer Boss Racing (Ant rode for them a few years ago) they were stoked with the 125cc 3rd place by their rider Stefan Bradl (Never seen so much beer on 1 table ). We were kicked out at 3am and watched them do donuts in the their hire cars outside the hotel...funny guys for Germans!
If you're in the region its worth the flight, the grandstand doesn't have the best view of the back of the track but they have big screens and our ticket (about AU$30) got us automatic entry to win either a KTM ex-250, Ducati 695 Monster or a BMW Z4 M-Roadster!

Thought you'd like to see some photos that a friend sent me from Qatar race. His company, Axio hardpacks, is one of the Kawasaki GP team sponsors. He also sponsors Jamie.
