In the city and freeways I stick to Limit +/- 10Kmh. On country roads with good visibility I give it a bit more (within reason) but generally I don't exceed the limit by more than 10-20Kmh. Having said that, when I got my ZZR a few people asked me how it went... so one day I gave it a burst on an isolated, long country road to see what 200kmh+ felt like. For a few seconds I hung on for dear life. When I backed off I thought.. "Wow so that's what 200+ feels like"

Good on him for taking it outta town. It would be a pity if he met a Kombi van poking from one driveway to another driveway though
.
In Traffic I usually sit 5% - 10% over the limit , so i dont get lost in trafiic, if they are going faster then that i slow down. Most dangerous part of freeway riding is them forgetting you are there.
As for speed I dont know how fast "tiggr" will go but its faster then I'm happy about, fastest was with a bump headshake at 245kms. That woke me up pretty damn quick.
Cheers Brett

re: the Cops will luv this
hmmm, well ive done the high speed thing, i normaly sit higher than what cars are doing as i have come to the realization that sitting at the same speed your more likely to have someone cut you off or take you out, some people purposely slow down so there level with the car in the other lane and that fuggin pisses me off.
anyone read the bike mags have seen what the latest can do and i can confirm that.

used 2 go fast in the younger days, & 4 long periods on some roads, but with age i have found that my testicles have shrunk considerably....rather b an old rider than a bold rider. that doesn't mean that the thrill of speed doesn't still give me a fat

re: the Cops will luv this
Ok, Im pissed, so I'll tell the truth.
I like to ride fast, but much over 220 and I don't look at the speedo. Suffice to say, I've held it flat nacker more than a few times. What ever the mags say the bike will do, I've done it.
One da earlier this year, between Ararat and Stawell, I was tucked in behind Scotty and I managed to hit the rev limiter in 6th.
Lots fast.

It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.
