Cleaned....and about as good as it will get ;)

Post by swabio-ACT »

Well, I decided to whack on a couple more stickers.... and give the bike a bit of a clean... wax etc..... and i reckon this is about as good as it will look stationary ;)

I still have not bothered taking the wets off from my last trip to EC.... I have some new plugs etc and over the next couple of weeks will get it back up and running sweet..... I will pull the carbs apart, clean them..... then balance them.... as well as new plugs etc and prob a new fuel pump will be required.... it is sounding pretty sweet at the moment.... running quite nicely now it is at home.... lol.....

A big thanks to Rob for the stickers too!

Well today....it started first go.....and was running alright even revved out without any issues.......... and I have not even touched it since i got back.... let alone put the new plugs in yet....... but over the next couple of weeks.... I am taking it down to a mates place..... ripping the carbs off..... stripping & cleaning them.... then balancing them...... doing the plugs..... putting in a new fuel pump..... and it should be sweet.... *fingers crossed*! Oh and pulling the rocker cover off to make sure that damn new gasket is on properly this time..... after all of that.... I will make sure I actually sit on it and get the foot & hand controls comfortable this time ;)

Then it will be off to WP for a couple of track days to sort it out good and proper :)
