i used the ipod for the ride to/from the GP last year.
i tape the thing to my throttle wrist and run the earphone cable up the sleeve of the jacket.
i have those earphones that seal in your ear so they block out most of the back ground noise.
Ive never bothered using it for shorter trips. more trouble than its worth.

i find putting by the ipod on the outside of the jacket i can control it ie pause it if i need to speak to someone, fast forward if a shit song comes on etc.
It was great on the boring bits but for the interesting sections i would pause it.

Favourites are always killswitch engage, guns n roses, even had some skynnrd in there for good measure :D

NO pic pleaseeeeee

I'm addicted to music, but if riding with others have only one ear piece -

Late last year (taking my old ER5 for a spin) a cop who pulled up next to me at the lights started yappin -i let him go till his mouth stopped moving and clearly signed i couldnt hear him... he wasnt happy Jan!..next thing the bloody lights are flashing and he signed back to me he would like me to pull over.

Out with the book and on with the hat... asking what i was pulled over for ...standard breath test..
While i was doing that the other was checking my exhust and to my amazement the stupid bastard stuck his hand inside the exhust????? i couldnt help but giggle...they were happy to send me on my way.....

Strange in the country!!

By the way i dont need to state where i keep my ipod..
It all comes down to how you ride it.....

I listen to various kinds of music depending on the situation..

Scenic ride, crank up the uplifting trance.. waaaaah so peaceful..

Riding to work, get the metal / hardstyle / hard dance music going

Well all I can say about music on a long trip, is that I will *never* do a long trip without a fully charged Ipod ever again.

It was great to just sing along to whatever happened to pop-up on the playlist, especially on the long transport sections between the twisty bits........and having the Shuffle (2nd gen) just clipped to the back of the R glove, with lead up inside jacket, meant that I could control all important functions anytime.......pause at lights to speak etc etc, it was so easy it wasn't funny.

Having good ear-buds also reduced the wind-noise to *zero*, but I could still hear the stumpy Yosh without any drama... ;)
