Re: PLEASE HELP
It's not unusual to have the inner jets smaller on inline fours. MattyV has on of these buggers
Bris southside He may be able to help out champ. This type of crap is why I'm about to learn how to do shims & rear shocks, wont have to get "Potholed" every time I need a spanner turned on one of my scoots.

Re: PLEASE HELP
Well, I managed to get my bike running properly.
In total frustration, the bike shop replaced the whole carbie...and...bugger me dead if the bike dont run like a dream now.
Took it up the Sunshine Coast today with a mate riding an old Yamaha XJ600...Kawasaki 1, Yamaha NIL
This little thing just ate the Yamaha...Lacks a little down low, but once you start feeding the throttle and get the revs up into the 6 and 7 Grand, hold on....
I managed to get 200kph out of her...Overall, a very lightweight bike that runs on tracks.
I'm quite happy with it now...
Thanks to everyone with ideas and advise. I appreciate it...
Anyone with some idea's for blingin' one of these little things up, I'd love to hear from you.

Re: PLEASE HELP
So they supplied and fitted the replacement carbs for $300? Sounds reasonable.
Although $700 for a service is a bit steep, especially when they didn't even replace the air filter!! Did they not tune/balance the carbs for this price?

Re: PLEASE HELP
Replaced all 4 carbs or just one or more?

Re: PLEASE HELP
Yes. They provided the carbies ( All four ) fitted and tunes etc for $300... I know what you mean. Thats a $1000 I've spent on it so far, but I guess these are the joys of riding a bike huh? If it's not repairs and rego, it's fines...
Anyway, I'm off for a ride to Warwick today.
Catch you all later. Thanks again.
