Philip Island Motogp help

Post by zxsixr03 »

Does anyone know of a good listing of accommodation for the 2008 GP, i have tried about 12 places all with nothing but camping. Our Second option is staying in Melbourne but is there coach transport to and from the track for race day from the CBD?
Cheers heaps.

ur a bit late... most places book out a year in advance...

hence why so many of us camp at a track, or a caravan park....

And thre kind f is coach trasnport too/from PI. You can get a bus too PI for about $15 or so last I looked into. To get back from PI you need to take a cab to hook up with a bus (might be an option straight after the race would be best to call Connex or someone like that) and that cab ride was about $45 3-4 year ago so closere to 60 now I reckon hen about a $15 bus ride to boot.

Campings the wtg anyways, hang outside with the mob, drink beers by the campfire, get soaking wet and freezing cold whilst the wind tries to take your tent to Tasmania, only way to do it :P

Try San Remo. There are several web sites with accommodation in them that may help. I don't know there addresses but if you type San Remo inthe search and go through accommodation you may find some thing. Good luck.
