I'm picking it up Friday, but not sure if I will use it, or the 9. The 9 has just been refreshed with major service and is a known quantity, but riding the rex might just be a challenge I can't resist! I'm used to topping my credit card up prior to departure these days!!!!

Well done Strika! Congrats!

Now that brings back memories - I bought one of those (same colour/Yr/model) brand new back at the start of '02.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine.

My spare bike has dibs on it from Dangerous Dave's Brother in-law. He's flying in from the land of the white horny sheep, and I promised one of mine to him! If he bails on it for any reason, I'll let ya know! :)

Yeah, the ZXR1200S, that's the one I was thinking of. Nice work mate, looking forward to trying to keep it in sight.

I've known and dealt with Jack Pengelly from Spot-On for 20 years now. I have bought and sold him bikes over those years, both before I was known to him by the trade, and when I was working in the trade. He has never, ever sold me a dishonest bike and I have never, ever had him lie, cheat or reneg on his promises. I guess it could depend on the calibre of bike you purshased off him, but even an old GSX750ESD he sold me was a good old honest and reliable bike! It did 60,000 klms under me trouble free.

As for the Beemer, as Beemers go it is brand new from the motor back! And on a Boxer, the motor is not the unreliable bit! So the bits which are likely to go at some point have ALL been replaced! As such, it should make a mint bike for the next owner. It's just that I don't bloody trust it anymore and it made it an unpleasant experience to ride it!

If you're gunna have a crack at Jack, back it up with some FACTS!
