decisions decisions....It's finally over!!!!

No closer really to deciding what I am going to buy. Thoughts have ranged from a well set up ZRX1200S/R, to a GTR1000 to a Versys with top box and panniers!

i really like the look of the versys, i hope to be getting one soon as a test bike - i'll let you know how it goes.

I have also arranged a multistrada for early march as well

I am going to go test ride a Versys! I have trolled the net and read a few reports from O/s and here which all seem pretty favourable. I also read a pretty good report from one of the Pommy mags which one of the guys had up at Jindabyne over the weekend. It was very complimentary about it!

The 12/14 idea was to replace the 9! But as I am not going to offload the 9 then I don't need a 250+kph sports bike. What I really need, is a simple, reliable, cheap to buy, cheap to run, mile munching, gear toting, super comfortable, grunty and fuel efficient touring bike, which is still happy when the road turns loose! So my thoughts are back to things which fit that design brief. I really have to buy this bike with my head, not my heart! It's going to be the mile eater which I use to go tripping about the countryside during 2008!
