the only useful thing in the manual is the suspension settings!

Sit in a comfortable chair & have a drink - didn't know you weren't given a manual. Chill girl & go ask the person who sold you the bike to supply the owners manual -with only 1700 km on it they would still have the book available. BTW luv ur posts !

Re: under the seat. . . den den den
I have a 2007 ER6N with a service manual. I will have a look and find out what they are.
If they are helmet locks that would be great as I was annoyed that I couldn't see anything myself that locked the helmet on. Only problem is I have a seat bag attached and it's a PITA to keep taking the seat off for anything.
I'll get back to you

Re: under the seat. . . den den den
ZZRchicky...Jen,
The are helmet locks, the reason they are short is that you want the D clips of your helmet to be under the seat so theives don't
A: think they can just cut the wire and get a good helmet, and
B: think they can just rip it out.
I have the same type on the Z750, you just tie your helmet as if you were putting it on your head, undo one end and put it through your D-clip, reconnect it, put the seat back on. It is actually less fiddly than the old style.

Thanks BM and Jewjew, it's good to know they are there. Sometimes it's just easier to take the helmet with you !!
