Re: I wanna 10!
Being bored, crazy and a little annoying, I thought I'd reveive this thread - and maybe have it back on topic (as least for a couple of posts).
I'm very disapointed with the mid range of the Ten, I had to get it all the way to 4000prm in 1st before it would lift the front off the throttle. Off the lights I turned onto a freeway off ramp (slight down hill) rode smoothly to 4000rpm and open the throttle quick (there was no shut off first). I did not find the end stop of the throttle, but it lifted the front a foot and hung for a while. Damn I love an under powered mid range.
For the record, Akra can, no other tuning mods and standard gearing.

Rip out that zorst valve, tickle the map and it'll fatten up that wimpy midrange and having wheelying like a bastard from 1500!!!!!photomike666 wrote:Being bored, crazy and a little annoying, I thought I'd reveive this thread - and maybe have it back on topic (as least for a couple of posts).

It's like guys complain about the bottme ned of an R1! But last time I did roll ons with Dangerous Dave and his R1 it romped away from the 9 at ALL speeds! It did the same thing to my 900 Hornet too which is supposed to be a grunter!! So I really don't get it? Maybe the awesome top end just shadows the bottom and mid?

Anyhoo, back on topic.....I'll do my best to get some Momkey Porn Pics at the Night Zoo in Singapore when I go!!

Re: I wanna 10!
well when i rode the 06 10R it felt bit the same not much under 4k, but when it close to top of the rev range it was bloody amazing the amount of power it.
The r1 on the other hand felt like it was heaps grunter down low!
Loved them both, i think i perfered the 10R tho!!
Out of interest, my mate wants a Crim, I have never ridden one, but how do they compare to the 06 gumby ? i hear they are a bit of a wheel stand demon ?? basically bit "off the hook"
