Re:
I walked into the same dealership with cash to buy my ZZR250 when I first started riding. (I didn't tell the salesman that I had the cash to buy the bike right now as I had not started negotiating.)They had none in stock, and I was told that they would call me as soon as one arrived.YAPPA wrote:FARK ME....A RESPONSE, maybe i should send them an email about the outstanding service I get from Midtown kwaka, lets see, a crash repair that has taken 10 paint jobs & 15 months to fix....oh hang on, IT"S STILL NOT FUCKEN FIXED!!!!!!!!! now I'm waiting for decals that i was told are no longer available, so they got some made & they looked like shit, so miraculously they ordered some more (they musta became available again suddenly) now I'm waiting for them to source the air ducts off of the back of the fairing that THEY FUCKEN LOST!!!!!!

at least i've had the z750 as a loaner for the last cuppla months, funny tho how when I ring THEM to find out W.T.F. is going on, & I get no joy, that the z750 loses 500 klm off the back tyre & my garage fills with smoke
Guess what- no-one ever called me back and my brand new ZZR and subsequent ER6 were purchased from another dealer on the other side of town!
I had to order a brake lever from them (you think this would be a stock item). I called to see that they had it in stock- I was told "Yes, we will hold it for you." Drove straight there- nothing put away and no lever in stock!
Had a friend recently go there to purchase a mirror and oggies (for an ER) - waited a month for the order only to find out that the wrong parts were ordered.
This is my closest Kwaka dealer but I NEVER go there any more (even before I defected to Suzuki.)

Re: Recent purchasing experiences
Since the thread title isn't specific to buying kwaka bikes...
I wanted to get two Mikuni (popular) main jets from the local busy bike shop. Basically two brass screws with a precise hole. $12 each for aftermarket (not Mikuni) jets! And no swaps if I need a different size! WTF? I tell the guy that I can get them for $3 each off ebay and he says ebay is killing bike shops. Well no shit. If I bought all my main jets from them it would have cost me $144 just to end up with the one pair that I need.
