Well that was fun .
Coffee and a pineapple and celery shake went well . Left Acland street with Gig (pineapple juice only) and cruised down to Brighton Kawa to try and catch up with Strika .
On the way had a motorcycle officer do a U turn behing me and follow behind . Was on Groggles 10 so keeping it at 60kph was very difficult .
Raised my visor at the next set of lights and said "Gday" which got me a gruff "Pull in to the servo" Bugger
Turns out they had a rego blitz on and another solo had another bike pulled over as well . Gig pulled in with us .
Another nice friendly "Gday" got "Got your license ?" Its always fun to tell them you haven't and even more fun to let them know that its not your bike :D
After the standard note taking and radio chat , he takes my photo ?? Whatever ? He started to have a bit of a laugh when i told him he should have allowed me a bit of time to do my hair . Let us know that they pick up stolen bikes when they do these checks and that Kawas are pretty popular with smash and grab theives who travel 2 up on a bike and one just jumps off and evidently they can very quickly get past Kawa's imobilizers and ride em away .
Was piss funny when he asked Gig for her license and had her proudly waving it in front of me , then he tells her its out of date . Priceless    He was just having fun and the license was fine , but Gigs face
Off we go again and as Gig and I split up I have done a a "little" ride by while she is about to turn right . The economy meter on the 10 was showing around 14 kilometers to the litre and rolled off and pulled across the Hwy . That little flash of Fluro in the mirrors had me nervous  .
Oh yes the dico lights and we pull up in the service lane .
"Gday" once again doesn't cut it and we get the standard "Got your licence ? " This has me unable to control a bit of a laugh as I explain , No license , Mates bike and I have been checked 15 minutes ago . " Yep I know " he says "Saw you back at the servo" " Was going to book your friend for doing an illegal right hand turn but you took off "
A fair bit of back and forth about staying in front of cars , etc and he is sick of that excuse etc You were well over 80 yadda yadda . You are both lucky today .
:D :D :D Hooray , and not even a radio check .
Ya can stick riding a 10 , no wonder they call them Crms :D
Ummmm let me see

Sounds like a fun ride guys.....maybe if you stopped wearing the arseless leather chaps you wouldn't get so much attention from the cops, but I guess that will never happen ;)
