Tank Range for ZX7R
What sort of mileage are you guys getting out of a tank on your ZX7's? The guy i bought mine from said about 200kms to reserve, which would mean close to 280 kms?
re: Tank Range for ZX7R
I'm still getting the hang of riding the 7 so I ride really easy and I'm getting about 220-30km before re-filling. Haven't had to switch to reserve yet, but it would've been getting close each time.

Hayden who??

At the track I was lucky to get 180 ks before reserve on the road usually around 200ks to 210 before reserve and on a long trip I could get about 240 before reserve.

Hey Omen-child, my 7 has been rejetted so figures are not 100% accurate.
Commuting I get about 205km, solid weekend riding about 195 and track is about 180ish.
Keep in mind though, your primary is 15L and the reserve is only 3L so that works out at about 240kms tops. It is pretty easy to get caught out, especially if you only run preimium type fuels. But that's a small price for such nice bike. I hope you enjoy it

It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

I got 228 on casual riding, before having to switch- over to reserve and got about 40k's until i found a servo (that had PULP).
That was on the Vic ride day.

compared to the mighty GPX750r.....
which did 420km on 23litres (and with a 22 litre tank)
it was a doddle.....only did a topup of 11 litres in Lorne for the trip home
never had the thing go on reserve!
oh and I only use ULP.....

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
