Although it's still living and breathing - just - it kinda looks at home
Gave it a tub and it looks kind of respectable. Went over it just now with stubbie in hand and found for RWC it needs new wheel bearings - 2mm sideplay no good. New headstem bearings and a rear brakelight switch. Clutch basket is noisy and what is that oil / grease you've been putting in it?
Like I said I love your new 9 and you are always welcome to duck out here anytime for maintenance / cleaning / advice on the 9 - complimentary beer on arrival of course

S&W the last lot of oil that went in it some 1800k ago was Motul 5100... supposedly "the shit" but frankly I think too rich for my bikes taste I think you have a thing for headstem bearing too btw So recommended places for a roadie on the 9, B Kwaka my best bet??

Brighton or any other shop Mick. It should sail through no worries. Main things to consider before taking it in are;
1 Disc thickness - seemed ok
2 Pads - didn't look
3 Lights - too easy, they work or they don't. If they dont get them sorted before attending
4. Bearings - Wheel bearings; perhaps we could have checked this arvo as it takes two without stands - they check for side to side movement. Headstem for "Notchiness" around centre - the 9 seemed fine - the 600 definitely has worn headstem bearings as there is a distinctive groove / notch on centre that would never pass RWC
5. Fluid leaks - none that I saw
6. sidestand cutout - once again, it works or it doesn't
7. Tyres - no worries there

These are the basics, of which you shouldn't have a problem.

Bloody good question that, working tomorrow night so Christmas shopping is the plan tomorrow and also try get a roadie done on it tomorrow, in Geelong Wednesday day and night for a bbq, Thursday's a possible depending what time I get back from the small smoke I guess.. working Friday. Weekend off (I think).
