The boys in blue are a bit active ATM!
I have noticed an increase in police attention when riding of late. On three occassions of late, I have sen them weave through traffic behind me to catch up, then once behind they just sit there. My best guess is the obligatory rego check is being carried out as you traverse. Even to the point where two weekends ago on a ride, one of my mates who had just crash repaired his blade, changing it from red to blk/gry, they pulled him over to discuss that! I guess they may have thought they were plates from another bike or something. But the point is, they are being ever vigilant! So, if you are one of those one percenters who may have some outstanding monetary issues with the fines dept, stay off yr bike!

Couple of years ago I was pulled over by a Solo at about this time of year.
Even though we had both traveled the same path at the same time of day all year and often came across each other on our way to our respective workplaces. He explained that he had to check all bikes for license and rego as this is the time of year that more unlicensed / unregistered bikes are prevelant.

I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

Not only bikes being targeted , there was a breath testing being done this week on both lanes of the Loddon Valley Hwy at around 2.30pm at Durham Ox ! There is not a lot of action at Durham Ox , half way between the Black Stump and Bum F#%k nowhere .

yeh exactly that happened to me on the way to work on Wednesday on the eastern. I was just having a good look in my mirror before giving it some cos the traffic was being braindead and here he comes up to get in behind me and just sits there.Strika wrote:I have sen them weave through traffic behind me to catch up, then once behind they just sit there. Dunno about other states, but in NSW you are supposed to notify the RTA of a colour change on a vehicle.
Police this time of year? nah!

I'm waiting to partake in the Minister approved Drug Tests, I Hope their Phamacist has more street cred then the bluecapped boofhead Bartender at the last booze bus I dropped in on, The Fecker had a REAL problem pouring drinks so i left before it was my shout.
