We Viccos / Melbournians are shite at getting together for rides, socialising and everything else and since we performed so poorly in the winter challenge ( Netrider out did us

This is a long post and I expect most of you all will skip over it to get to the next posted comment, so I will say this firstly - Give blood. It can, will and does save lives.
Ok here's the lowdown;
Most people are able to give blood if they:
- Are feeling fit and healthy
- Are between 16 and 70 years of age
- Have had their parents sign a consent form if they are under the age of 18
- weigh over 45kgs
- Have eaten recently and drunk plenty of fluids ( ideally water or juice)
Some of the reasons you may be temporarily unable to donate blood include:
- Being on certain medications
- Suffering from a cold or flu
- Having recently been pregnant or trying to get pregnant
- Receiving a tattoo or body piercing in the last 12months
- Having been imprissoned in a prison or lock up in the last 12 months
- Having had Homosexual sex in the last 12 months
- Having had sex with a prostitute in the last 12 months
- Having had a surgical procedure in the last 12 months
You will not be able to donate blood if you:
- Have ever been an injecting drug user ( or the sexual partner of a drug user in the last 12 months )
- Are HIV positive, have AIDS or Hepatitis
- Have lived in the UK for a total period of 6 months or more between 1/1/1980 and 31/12 1996.
So Going on the above Photomike and Rossi (?) are excused. For the rest of you lot anybody that doesn't give blood must be a male prostitute hiring, drug using criminal

If you are not a regular donor then you will have to provide 3 points of ID which include a photo, DOB and name.
So if you have passed all the above and are able to give blood then how do you do it?
Easy Peasy.
Call 13 14 95 and make an appointment for your nearest centre.
Alternately I will be arranging 2 group appointments in the new year - stay tuned.
Once you have donated of course dont forget to register your donation as a KSRC blood letting. Friends and family can also participate on our behalf so drag them along also.
This is for a very good cause and gives us the ability to stand proud as a group.
