KSRC Support

Post by jewjew »

I was at the bike show last saturday afternoon,

i was the only person wearing a KSRC t-shirt, It was not the best of days so i cant except the excuse of "i was out riding". I went thinking i would meet some KSRCians at the kawasaki stand or putting shit on the other types of bikes, but nothing.

I am extremely dissapointed with the KSRC turnout

It was the kwaka stand at 11.00 was it not. While I was there I caught up with Dave, Jus, Frank, Dave#3, Cath and Burky.

You probably would have seen more people around the Kwaka stand if it hadn't been totally shit
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

You weren't at the Kawi stand at 11 as organised were you.. :-)

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17635" target="_blank" target="_blank

I saw quite a lot of KSRC members in the morning and there was a few there in the arvo... you must have been hiding..

We even had 3 on stands. Nick on the Kawi stand, Pink Angel on the Stariders stand and Buckets on the Snowy tours stand.. ;)

I'm a visionary Dave. It was the only bike I could find that would be flat out on the Bells at 80km/h.

I think you'll find it will just be a detuned blade motor with cheaper internals in the supsenders lower rent brakes and a steel tube chassis just as the Z's are!!!!

I'd be surprised, it'd be a backwards step from the Hornet with its "Mono-Backbone frame" (yes, that's what Honda calls it).

Why would they go back to a steel tube chassis?

Well it appears to be the same sort of design as the Hornet, check the specs here: http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/2008 ... index.html and the single-sided swingarm is pretty sweet. Alas I could never own one as it is cursed with a truly hideous exhaust.

I don't know wtf drugs the Honda engineers are on, but that's the most god-awful piece-of-proverbial-shite farking butt-ugly exhaust/shroud/cover whatever-the-fark-it-is I have ever had the misfortune to clap my sad and sorry eyes on.

What a bloody abortion on a bike that looked to have a bit of promise .

Bastards .
