A GLOBAL M/C ADVENTUE

Post by RedRoo »

thanks Madkaw for letting us post this.

Hi all as you are possibly aware of myself and Seraph have set about on doing a world adventure, “TWISTS” The Global Motorcycle Adventure! It’s very new in concept and very different in how we are doing it. Not like Long Way Round but more everyday rider focused, our aim is to not detract from local forums but indeed to highlight and promote them in the interest of motorcycling in general.
We intend to ride the greatest road rides on the planet as well as lap the best tracks over the next 3 years and promoting local groups as well.

To try and explain how this is going to be done and the features we have will take far too long to explain in a simple communication now. Believe me though the concept is exciting and the entire project enormous.

The bottom line is this, to do what we intend to do involves involving local forums and riders and what they do as a forum and as a group of people.
We have no intention of encroaching on local turf and local activities but we want to help put your name out there on a Global basis, promoting bike riding in specific areas to people all over the world.

We have a specific title sections called “Black Ribbon” which is road riding and “Inside Line” which is track focused. We will be doing streamed PC TV shows featuring both activities as well as DVD’s. By involving local forums and its riders and people in general we will help spread your name, promote your sites and activities and will make some very good high quality bike orientated DVD’s as well. This project is not being done on an amateur basis but very Professional.

To make this entire project a reality we do indeed need your help, we will need to involve your forum and site, tape segments involving some KSRC Activities, interview and talk to your members, do road rides with them and or track days depending on your special interests.

Our launch date is December 1 2007, so time is fleeting and we need to get your feedback, weather or not you as a group are interested in participating in the whole show, it is a show, but very rider & group, bike informative.

Let us know if you wish to be involved in this as we would enjoy playing along with and promoting and riding with your people and site.

This project is being made by everyday riders and for riders

RedRoo and The Pirate (seraph)
“TWISTS” The Global Adventure.

I believe 5 of our project ppl are also members of KSRC, so we would enjoy catching up and doing some good stuff with KSRC as a forum community... :D

Good luck with your trip mate, I sincerely hope you both have a fantastic time and get your knee down through the Corkscrew !! Don't forget Deal's Gap either, you have to do a run through there !!!!! pic's or it didn't happen ....

For the project, are you looking for photos of KSRC members at the track ? Or some video's ?? Where do we upload them ? Is there an R rating ( you never know, DonutMan might make a guest appearance... )

Hey Gos, not sure which one of us is going to have the harder time dealing with each other    get rid of the dork on the left  what you dont find me getting you all gooey and hot   bugger Gos, feeling rejected mate ;)
Gos you don't have the required....hmmmm ????? to get shanghaied on a trip like this      only 50 lashes, is that with pants on or off   R rating why go so vanilla as R

There will be heaps of pics and video footage all streamed on-line. What we would like to do with KSRC is get together with a group of riders riding their fav road in their area, on board cameras, roadside cams, grab a bit of chit chat and interaction and even maybe some track day footage, bit of any overview of KSRC at play :D ...hmmm Snowy's would make great footage ;) What we will be doing in most cases is to get pre-shot footage from forums, post them on our site and get ppl to vote on rides they would like to see ridden in more detail, then we will go for the ride as well and do a "Black Ribbon" feature on that ride. Sound interesting?

lol...donut man...i know you Gos...who did the photoshopping mate

;) I am sure you will both really enjoy the journey - it sounds like a whole lot of fun........and you stopped getting me all hot and gooey back in about 1983 !!!

ssshhhhh about the photoshopping, its our little secret ........ ;) - in any case, DonutMan has some surprises in store for the forum shortly......its about the right time of year as I recall.......

As far as your site goes, once the info is up, site address etc, can we just submit short videos ?? The Snowies run isn't until next February, but there is a KSRC Track-day on 15th December, we may be able to get some good footage from this day........I am sure there will be plenty of good photos as well.......

Roo remember she's good at putting her foot in her mouth when pulled over by cops, make sure you do all the talking. :P

I won't wish you safe travels, you're already proven to be an unbreakable bastard. We do expect you'll return the girl in the condition you found her ok?

Looking forward to the launch, we will follow with interest. 8)

Gos will talk to you more...keep losing your ph number though mate, easier than 1 finger typing...lol

Neka thanks mate, will see what we can come up with..

Mojo, ohhh I know shes good at putting her foot in her mouth believe me I do know, common prob with a lot of ppl one would think ;)
Jamies safety and well being is of paramount importance to me, shes as good as blood!, what she does though and as you would know is anyones guess, but eyes are firmly open...

as for being an unbreakable bastard, well i suppose in some ways it seems the case, but if that last acco was even a tiny fraction worse i would not be here now, thankfully all 27 bones have healed, the brain damage gone,,hmmm  and only a few lingering injuries to get over...shit happens i suppose

to quote a much respected and great mate of mine...GAME ON!
