I know he did :D :D :D
He told me on the phone that he would be happy to get $300. Then when he pushed the bid up himself he stopped at $300 dont know why. I know it was the seller placing the other bids because 10 mins after the last bid he posted up the edit.
I know it is his property and he is free to do whatever he likes with it but what pissed me off was that I was holding onto $600 in the event I won and had to cough it up - in the mean time I was watching other items passing me by.
Ah fuck him X 2
Last week after talking to him on the phone I looked up his dealership website where he is advertising the fact that he has the last 5 tyres available to suit the Ducati 906 ( they are a weird arse size) and I was going to refer a friend of mine who owns one of these. But I guess he misses out twice. :D
Welcome to the Global economy shithead. You maybe in another state but that doesn't mean shit anymore because your customer base is national.

there is no disclaimer in the ebay auction that slow n wobbly bid. that is, often people put "item is advertised elsewhere and i reserve the right to end this auction at any time" i do it myself, and people know what the deal is then when they read it

by not having that, he is saying the item will be sold on ebay once bid on. you cant cancel an auction in the last 12 hrs of it, so he just added a note saying dont bid.. thats bullshit. the item should have gone to the winning bidder.

Well yeah your right Neka I am pissed off, but it realy comes down to communication. I took the time to ask him 3 questions through e-bay messaging and called him direct and I certainly expressed an interest. As I said it was the fact that I was holding onto cash to pay for the item if I won while I missed other items. He did not have the courtesy to even message me back to say he had sold them, just banged up an edit to the page, even though I was the only bidder at that stage. Then Even after I "won" the auction on Sat I didn't hear from him until last night just to be sure that I didn't owe him the cash. It's just poor form from a seller.
And I'm a whinging little girl. So whats your point? :D

Not at all. Sometimes you will see this disclaimer on certain items (eg cars etc) where the car is also advertised in the Trading Post, or wherever.

I couldn't see this disclaimer in the auction that S&W won. Adrian - you have rights as the winning bidder, and that fuckhead seller also has obligations that he agrees to when selling the goods. Lodge a dispute with e-bay about your winning bid, and make life as miserable as you can for this fuckhead. Negative feedback is the least you can provide.....

Problem with this is that E-bay provides a tit for tat with feedback. I leave a negative for him, he leaves a negative for me
I only just re-registered with fleabay after an 18 month abstinence after ebay and I had a falling out ( I threatened legal action. Long story but wash up is it would be like suing Mcdonalds) And all I want to do is collect cheap secondhand parts for the 9 and I'm out. Having a low feedback count and a negative while trying to deal with overseas sellers would not be good.
All I can say is I dont know how this guy runs a dealership when even my 10 year old niece can sell things without drama on e-bay.
