There's your problem, you got a break lever, not a brake lever

WTF? That's a fucking travesty. Brake levers shouldn't break, and by that I mean they should be seriously over engineered because it's a very serious failure. Heads should roll, seriously.

Went and seen mick at brighton kawasaki
He was straight on the phone to the guys who supply him
Fastest thing I've seen happen in awhile
There sending someone out to see the lever, so looks like I might be able to get them to pay to fix my bike
Oh I got my old lever out of the shed today and bashed it a lot with a hammer to straighten it
No sign of a break or weakness
Bloody doggy parts

Porosity in the casting no doubt. Still it shouldn't happen ever. Good to see you survived and I truly hope all damage is rectified by Kawasaki Australia. Its either that or legal action - and by the look of your first posts you were and obviously still are suffering post traumatic stress! $$$$
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

That's crap... Glad to hear your ok. Trees can do some major damaged to bike & body.... Very lucky.
Hope they come to the party and fix the beast for nothing..
