Because what races on Sunday sells on Monday......and there hasn't been a competitive 750 class for a long time now. Suzuki only continue to make the gixxer 7fiddy because of the history that particular model has for them. Thats it. A warm inner corporate glow prevails. They are unlikely to ever drop the 750 sports bike out of their lineup.
....Isn't Kawa owned by Spewzuki anyways? ....
 WTF ?? there was an agreement to share parts between common models a few years ago, but that is all over now. KHI as a company is bigger than Honda Suzuki and Yamaha combined. Its just s shame that the m/c division is the smallest of all 4 jap manufacturers....... :(

No. The joint venture from a few years ago was only about sharing of technology and pooling of R&D and manufacturing resources, and even that's now ended.

The very healthy numbers it continues to sell in might have something to do with it, too... the other manufacturers are shooting themselves in the market share by not offering stroked versions of their 600's, too.

In looks, definitely, however I was quite keen on the adjustable ECU of the gixxer. Still haven't decided yet though

I can tell you one thing, it definitely will NOT be a Hooonda!

I'd go the GSXR Tanya. They're a very nice bike and the 750 is a perfect size donk I reckon. They look pretty smick too.

They seem to be a ok thing tanya and I know where you are coming from with the gap between a six and a ten.

Its about time to do something with my six its been around the world a few times and i have a dodgy shoulder which i will blame on the sixes riding position......I have a race bike for racing and really need a roadbike as well so if the spewie fits that description for you go for it.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Master bike 07 rated the GSXR750 quite highly(behind the 1000's), something about accessable power and easy to ride fast by comparison to a litre bike, and the same weight as a 600 class bike.

Just watch the trade in value in years to come Tanya, the GSXR750 is in no mans land these days with punters doing the 600-litre bike jump with no thought for owning a 750cc bike.

Modern litre bikes, they're just so rideable...really they are!

Be sure to let us know how the test ride goes and the comparison between the 10 and the gsxr. I would be very interesting in your opinions on the two... Have you looked at the gixxer thou as well?
