Hey, Ross and I rode the 07 zx10r yesterday. It's slower than the 12! Very disappointed! We were very impressed with the comfort and handling, and that awesome growl when you open it right up, but to us, didn't seem as vicious as the 12 What's the go?

i kno a few girls who ride cbr1000/zx10/r1 and the like...i have no issues with them doing that...
but..they have progressed thru 250's, 600's or 750's or the like, have had dirt experience or race/track experience, and know how to ride a bike (in fact sum of em leave the blokes for dead)...

the issue isnt that u shouldnt buy a 10...the issue is you should get more experience before u buy a 10...

ive said it before (and i think u have missed it??) ..we aint trying to be sexist pricks..we just dont like the bit where we read abt the death of a freind/family/forum member cos they couldnt handle the new bike...

go buy a dirt bike and spent the next few months riding that (both on and off road- they handle like a turd on the road on knobbies) ...that will give u a LOT of practice towards becoming a better rider...
Umm... no Neka, I didn't say anyone here has alluded to the gender thing, that was others, before I asked here.

Is this bait for another debate or you's really dont understand why a 1000cc bike didnt go as fast as a 1200cc while 2 up?

you need to ride an 04-05 crim, not a gumby.

the 10's are also very highly geared, not much happens in 1st till about 60hm/hr.

and i doubt you got it over 10,000rpm, where the fun really starts

oh i like poo!!

ummm the 10 is designed to be nimble, and powerfull...the landbarge 12 has more power ans more torque, and is designed more for 2 up riding than a 10..im guessing u found the 12 more comfy too??

If I had to guess, the go would appear to be the large amount of crack you both smoked immediately before going test riding...

Didn't get to wind the 10 out as we had to ride in a big group. Went for a half hour ride but no real open roads. Didn't get much past 8grand, but the way you talk about these things I was expecting it to try and spit me off. In these conditions it felt like a 600 compared to the 12!
