BUT, and I'm going out on a limb here - I think the checherplate a bit average. It probably wouldn't keep all the crap out, but I'd have used the same mesh as in the cut outs.
yea..after another look, i reckon the mesh would look good too...

Phil you are dead right - it looks *way* better in the flesh, the wheels came up far better than I thought they would. The guys out at the local bike smash-repair joint ( a new subsidiary of CMCC) wanted to know who did the job......and how much would I charge to do a set on a 10 !! A lot of the credit has to go to PC, he did a great number on the Gloss 2-pack black, this really sets the polished rims off.....

OK Ponti, your on. I will send up a template for some of that 'fooly tscik' unobtanium Radector material for that fairing infill......check your mailbox next week.

Don't worry about bagging the checkerplate, I have been told now by umpteen 'observers', that it is crap and I need to flick it ASAP ! Well there you go, one mans chrome checkerplate is another man's arsewipe  (ouch). The checker-plate will get the flick when Ponti can knock up a better version........The stock centre piece has a couple of big cracks, and looks way crappier than the c/plate I reckon....

That rear disc works great with the braided line. Normally, putting a braided line on a rear brake can cause the brake to become something of an 'On/Off' switch, unless you bleed some air into the line.

With this brake, because it has less disc material for the pads to grip, you get a bit more pedal-travel than stock. So with the braided lines, it evens out, and the back brake works very well. Sulli - mate, I only used it once or twice to bed the pads in, thats all !!!

Big thumbs-up to the HH pads that were fitted to the front - They work *extremely* well.....highly recommended if anyone is looking to replace front pads.

Those mods are lookin great gos..

I know how much difference those wheels must look, i have two 12's one with matt black wheels the other with gloss black centres and the outer polished. The difference is huge and out edges arent anywhere near as hard to keep polished as a full wheel.

Those rearsets look damn horn, look forward to your evaluation.

its cool Nucci, the checkerplate has a very limited lifespan - 99% of the feedback so far has been the same as yours. I still wonder what possessed me to buy a roll of checkerplate and bung it on the bike !! Must be OldTimers kicking in early ?
