Good bodyshape but I have to say that I think the ol' ZX2R C looked more... dominating (for a sewing machine).
Got any power figures on it? Kawa site doesn't have bhp output.

Well, that'd be because the ZXR250[1] was a "proper" sportsbike, only smaller...Shaman wrote:Good bodyshape but I have to say that I think the ol' ZX2R C looked more... dominating (for a sewing machine).
It's powered by an EX250 motor, which has been helping GPX250's edge out four-cylinder hatchbacks when traffic lights flash green since 1987. Chances are this thing's performance is not going to mess with the head of anyone who's ridden a GPX or a ZZ-R250.Got any power figures on it? Kawa site doesn't have bhp output.
Feckin' pretty, though... and RRP of ~$US3500 over in Merka. That means they should be able to flog it in the $6000 range down here. That'll make it a real alternative to a scooter for those looking to save on rego.
[1]No such thing as a ZX-2R... until now, possibly. What odds that, if this bike makes it down here, it gets stickered as the ZX-2R.

If it does get called a ZX-2R then it will make liars of RB Imports (and any other importer) who've been calling the ZRX250 that name for what, eight or so years now? Or on the flip side it will have justified them (literally) rebadging the zrx250.I-K wrote:[1]No such thing as a ZX-2R... until now, possibly.
