i know there has been some mention on changing front & rear sprockets (then different length chain required) to improve acceleration (as the zxr's are so slow standard i can see the benifit straight off

zxr-750l1 front sprocket
is the front sprocket on a zxr750 he same as a later zx7? or zx9? mine is starting to show signs of senility (didn't look too bad 500k ago) so i figure if i'm going to pull the bike apart for a respray (kawasaki pearl blue here we come) i might as well do everything at once.

I don't believe the front sprocket is the same as the others.
Drop one tooth to a 15 front for better acceleration.
A sunstar front sprocket is only about $18.....
