lack of common sense there, I put my kids on the bucket for a learning experience but took them out into a big empty paddock with nowhere to go and nothing to hit before i cut them loose.

some kids could ride a bike no troubles at all at 3 years old and some just don't come with any road sense built into them so you have to use a bit of judgement with that one and also the kid should have been well supervised I was running beside my kids when they where getting the hang of it.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

My opinion but training wheels for a mini bike is just wrong. If they cant ride a push bike then they shouldnt be on a motorized one.

I bought my son a pee wee 50 just before his 4th b/day, and with the throttle stopper wound right in and me running beside him around the yard weve never had any problems. My 5yr old daughter now rides that bike, she wasnt as competant enough on a pushie until later so she started later, my son now has an 80 and they both enjoy riding together.
