Are the ZX14's selling well?

Post by kypez »

Just curious?! I've only seen about 3 or 4 in Sydney... But I still see lots of GSXR1300's... Whats the deal? Are they not selling well?

I get to see a few in the Southern Highlands. Nearly all have 4 into one pipes now. See heaps of Hayabusas though.

I've seen 2 of the blue variant and one of the black (read: sexy) here in Adelaide... all still had the normal pipes on 'em, though.

I live just out of the city, though - I guess the higher ownership percentage of these bikes would be out by the foothills / hills itself as I don't know how many people would buy those rocketships just to commute.

My reference was more to new bikes... I've seen lots of new GSXR (interm lable, I live near the old road, see them going up there) but have only seen a couple of ZX14's... hence my questions...

So yeah, I see a lot more new GSXR's than ZX14's... I think the sales graphs might confirm this...

i dare say that may have something to do with the new busa being due soon and run out deals being done on remaining floor stock.

at the end of the day its not our problem if there are lots of dumb f*ckers around ;)

Last night I saw 5th Gears review of the ZX14 (well, ZZR1400 as its know in europe)...

they loved it... Tiff hit 156mph in a very small distance strip... was pretty cool...

Don't know about the ZX14s but saw 2 GTR 1400s on Sunday one silver one black. The black is definitely the better looking.

They were probably from the memorial ride.
