i did it all online (except the inspection, which may aswell have been online )

the inspection dude bungs the slip online,
i set up my greenslip online, (nrma)
within 2 minutes (it told me at least 30) i go on rta website, its all there!
pay by dredit card and its all done!!

and all this ab 8pm!! sweet!

now i need a new tyre and a trackday then lie low for bloody months till i can afford to poke my head out...

yeah i shopped around, used the maa site.

i remember when 1st started that maa site, all the prices were like 200 bucks cheaper and stuff.
now all within 5 bucks of each other.

Fark Wattie, just did mine $347CTP + Rego $160. Helps a bit that the wife works for a dealership and the green slip was a little cheaper(not much but it helped). Full price was $371. I must come under the old fart pricing system

Just a hint with greenslips! I know of a few friendly car/bike dealers who will do the greenslip for you!!! It can often save you loads, as they for some reason, have a deal on greenslips! Go get to know them a little and they may help you out!

Try Aon they seem cheapest at the moment!

Some of the quotes seem OK until you tell them the bike is over 1000cc
QBE $698 no negotiation, Aon $363 No problems.

Total cost for 12 months rego down here on the 12 is about $460. That includes *everything*......(even the porn and fireworks...)
