2008 Kwaka development

Post by mick_dundee »

Seems that watching the race last night, the Kwaka is just crying out for some decent feedback from the riders in terms of development, ya reckon this will happen next year with Hopkins in the lead seat? And more importantly, can we be competitive??
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

Funny things is that the Suzuki has been the bike in 'development' all these years and has only come good this year with the new rule change.
Which seems odd that Hopper has picked next year to go to Kawasaki given that the Suzuki has finally come good and is now one of the most competitive out there, especially given that the two riders (Chirs and John) are both fighting for podiums which is more than we can say for Ducati or Yamaha in general.
The upshot is it only takes one good rider to make a bike competitive, as proved by Rossi and Stoner, and I dont think the Kawasaki is that far behind, as you say Mick, it's crying out for decent feedback.
I think West and Hopkins is an awseome combination for next year, two of the most enthusiastic blokes in the sport.
It would be great to see two sets of green leathers on the podium next year.
I'll put money down on West for a top five at Phillip Island...................
