2003 Kawasaki ZZR600 Workshop Manual?

Post by ZZR KWAKA »

Hey, Just wondering if anyone one else has a similar model bike to mine and knows exactly what Manual I should be buying...

I am actually a lil confused when I look as I dont think anyone of them covers the year my bike was made.... I am assuming the previous years would be the same, but we all know what happens when someone assumes....

I dont want to buy one and find out it is the wrong one..... Any help is appreciated...

Thanks.... Rick...

The E-Series didn't change much through it's model run, the only thing I can think of apart from the colour was that the 2000-onwards bikes had a heater line running from the water pump to the inlet manifold to warm to air going into the carbs.

Kawasaki cover changes like this by publishing a main manual, and then covering the later mods with a supplemental manual.

I have the Kawasaki service manual and supplement for the ZZR600 E-Series in PDF Format on CD. The originals went to another KSRC member when I traded in my ZZR600 on the Hornet, but I kept the PDFs for situations like this 8). I had a '98, and the supplement covers up to the 2004 model so you should be right.

Shoot me your address via PM and I'll mail a copy to you.

HTH, Mick

Mate, no probs at all 8).

The beauty of having a manual in pdf format is that you can print out the page you need and when you've finished with it and it's covered in oil/brake fluid/dirt (or all three) you can just chuck it :).
