Warwick Capper - meter maid/politician
Was listening to 2Day FM the other day and the boys were asking Capper if he actually had any policies to run with?
Yeah, he said I do : I'd make defensive driving course for P platers compolsary.
He might'n be that blond after all ??
What do you all think ?

Re: Warwick Capper - meter maid/politician
I think Capper's a twat but sometimes twats think of smart stuff.
I think it should be a given that to get a license of any sort you should have to go through some sort of compulsory competency based training based on a prescribed syllabus. The stats in NSW when compulsory rider training was introduced in the mid 80's are outstanding ie 160 P Plate deaths per year down to almost zero. The thing with bike training is that it was actually bike riders who lobbied for it and really noone argued that it wasn't a good idea. Unfortunately with Car drivers I can't see that happening

It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Capper is just so off the wall you have to laugh so for that reason i don't mind him.
Any additional driver/rider training is a good thing, i would imagine that is pretty self explanitory.
I would like to do further training for both car and bike down the track but the attitude should really be the earlier you start the better.
