HEY GUYS....

Post by KINKY NINJA »

G'day Guys,

Just thought I'd pop on in and say G'day.

BONESTER told me about this site, so he is to blame, OK~!

I just bought a schmicko '98 ZX9R, lime green, all original, lovely thing, get a kick out of the Ram Air doovies on the front of it......

My other bike is a VFR 800, yes I like Hondas as well, please dont stone me, I bruise easily

Great site guys, if its OK I'll just lurk around and learn some more about these neat bikes.

Thanks.

Best Wishes,

Rob.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Yes Tone, I love it, a very nice bike indeed, the nicest things I have noticed about it so far is the motor (wow!!!), the clutch (sweet as) and the gearbox (very smooth compared to the VFR). I really am looking forward to spending many enjoyable years riding it...

.....Rob, I'll still be keeping the VFR as my ridey (its a '98 model as well). I do about 500k a week commuting, so it gets a fair bit of use. I'll keep the ZX9 for weekend rides, just for pure enjoyment, its that kind of bike :D :D :D :D

Best Wishes,

Rob.

G'day Guys,

Thanks again for the welcome, its excellent!

Yep another Rob, but I dare say I'm a little "different" to the other Robs getting about, but its all good....

I have got to say I love the new ZX9, its a beauty, I think the VFR will be relegated to the back of the shed the way things are going!

I took the ZX out for a spin today, just loved it, so quick in comparison to the VFR. About the only thing I would like to change on it is the tyres, its got Bridgestone Battleax's on it at present, I think the Michelin Pilot Powers on the VFR seem a little nicer on damp road....

Best Wishes,

Rob.
